If you use a copyrighted image for your album cover or any other personal use, this copyright infringement can result in legal action.

Therefore, we recommend using your own image or copyright-free image which you can download from free image websites.<

If you purchase a beat with ‘Exclusive’ option, the beat is immediately marked as “Sold out” and cannot be sold to another artist.

However, anyone who has leased the beat with mp3 or wav before you buy the beat with ‘Exclusive’ can still use it within the terms of their license

• MP3 Lease: compressed audio file format
• WAV Lease: lossless and uncompressed audio file format (it loses no quality from the original recording)
• Trackout Lease: separate WAV files for each instrument in a beat
• Exclusive: after someone bought a beat with ‘Exclusive’, the beat is no longer available for sale

You cannot upload a beat with any copyrighted sampling to Watermelon. However, you can upload a beat with sampling whose copyright has expired (e.g. carol, classical music, etc.) or after clearing samples or Sample CDs.

We would appreciate it if you understand that you cannot upload a beat when there can be copyright issues.

1. Audio file format: You can upload a 320Kbps file for MP3, and a 48000Hz/24Bit file for WAV.
2. Stem file for ‘Trackout Lease’ or ‘Exclusive’: We recommend you to send WAV files separately for each instrument. It is better to send the individual tracks for each instrument, such as piano, bass, drum, rx, etc., rather than to send all the tracks you have worked on. 
3. Volume: It does not matter how loud your sound is, but it is better to consider a headroom when you send a beat.
4. Signature Sound: It is better to send a beat with signature sound for protecting your copyright.

You can always check your sales and payment information on ‘Mypage’.

The payment will be paid directly to your PayPal account at the end of the month (between 29th and 31th) after deducting 20% of sales commission and 3.3% of income tax.

When you purchase a beat with ‘Trackout Lease’ or ‘Exclusive’ option,

we will send an email to you if the stem file is more than 300MB.
